He is also a world renowned, charismatic drag performer and an incomparable makeup artist whose creativity and artistry are second to none.
Station 4 is the perfect setting for this summer soiree with a thundering sound system and state-of-the-art lighting experience in this 24,000-square-foot mega-club. In addition to its sweeping dance floor, Station 4 features a large patio and world-class drag entertainers in its famous Rose Room. Jorge was born in the city of Bayamon, Puerto Rico. As a DJ, he started spinning in his teens. He began his practice in the art of female impersonation in 1993. He combined these two skills at 19 years of age in which both his intense passion for music, and his connection to the art form of makeup brought him the ability to create unique characters on the stage. With his talents he began to amaze crowds both as a performer and DJ.
“The lights, the music, the stage, and the crowd – putting it all together – magic in the making” – Nina Flowers
Jorge began his career as a drag performer in 1993, with his creation of Nina Flowers. Nina Flowers made her debut on National television in 2009 on the first edition of RuPaul's Drag Race, followed in 2010 with an appearance on RuPaul's Drag U. Later in 2012, as a fan favorite she returned by appearing on the cast of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. As an entertainer she continues to display talent, charisma, creativity and most importantly humbleness, with a wide fan base.
Today DJ Flowers holds residencies in several cities that include Denver, CO (For Tracks Night Club); Boston, MA (For Epic Saturdays); San Francisco, and Pomona, CA (For Gus Presents and 340 Night Club); and NYC (For Viva Saturdays).
In the musical industry he has collaborated with some of the most talented DJs and producers, creating a number of club anthems available on ITunes and www.beatport.com.
